    Case Type: Bad Faith Insurance

One case that we are particularly proud of is Don vs. Unum. This was a complex federal class action case where Long Term Care policyholders claimed that they were denied their insurance benefits when they needed them most. Judge Dale S. Fischer appointed Mr. Vader National Lead Co-Counsel. With his efforts, a $46 million settlement was obtained providing relief to each class member in all fifty states, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Mr. Vader is particularly proud that every class member was made whole in their contract claims, even after the award of fees.
